Travel by Land usually takes 10 to 12 hours ride from Manila, including at least 2 stop-overs. Private vehicle is a faster and more comfortable way to travel.

Fares for Non-Aircon buses ranges from Php300 to Php500.
Ordinary buses are recommended if you want a 10 hours non-stop air blowing in your face, your'e cutting cost, or if you want "a hell of a ride".
Travel by Air takes at least 3 to 4 hours. It includes 2 hrs of pre departure and check-in, 45 minute flight from Manila to Legazpi Airport, and almost an hour ride from Legazpi to Ligao.
Regular fare MNL-LGP v.v. is more or less Php2,000 one way, or can be as expensive as Php5,000 depending on your booking date. You can avail of the cheap promo fares if it is not peak season, or you can book early like 3 to 4 months before to get the lower fares. Promo fares can be as low as Php500 to Php1,000 All inclusive. Just prepare Php200 for the Terminal fee collected in Manila Airport for departing passengers only.
